Hometown heroes

Senior Master Sgt. Sheri Mclean, 115th Fighter Wing, presents her daughter a set of Hometown Heroes Salute commemorative dog tags as a token of the National Guard's appreciation at a recent Hometown Heroes Salute ceremony at Truax Field in Madison, Wis. The ceremony included more than 350 members of the 115th Fighter Wing at the unit's first-ever Hometown Heroes Salute ceremony. The National Guard program honors recognizes Airmen who deployed for more than 30 consecutive days for Operations Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom and all other contingency operations. Airman's families and centers of influence were also recognized. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Ashley Bell)
