Audacious Warrior takes EOD training to the next level
Air National Guard explosive ordnance disposal personnel complete a water swim test and drown-proofing in uniform as part of rappelling certification, and pool PT which included swimming, pushup and sit-ups during the Audacious Warrior exercise at Fort McCoy, Wis., July 21, 2017. The 12 day long exercise utilized the extensive training facilities of Volk Field Combat Readiness Training Center and Fort McCoy Total Force Training Center to provide EOD teams from eight different states comprehensive classroom and scenario based training in EOD tactics and procedures difficult to obtain at their respective home stations.
