Airmen of the 115th Fighter Wing Airmen were welcomed home by family and friends in a ceremony at Truax Field in Madison, Wisconsin, Nov. 8, 2017. Chief Master Sgt. Thomas Gates, 115th FW maintenance supervisor, recently inducted Staff Sgt. Tyler Gates, a 115th FW crew chief, into the NCO corps while deployed. Approximately 270 Airmen and 12 F-16 Fighting Falcons were deployed to Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea for a 3-month rotation as part of a Theater Security Package, which helps to maintain a deterrent against threats to regional security and stability.
