Truax firefighters receive international accreditation

Chief Fire Officer Steven Dirksen, chair of the Commission on Fire Accreditation International presents a plaque to the Truax Field Fire and Emergency Services leadership team upon their department’s accreditation by the organization in Orlando, Florida, March 23, 2022. Truax Field FES is based in Madison, Wisconsin as part of the Air National Guard’s 115th Fighter Wing, and provides 24/7 emergency response to both the unit, and Dane County Regional Airport at which the wing is located.
