115th Fighter Wing celebrates final F-16 departure from Truax Field
F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft assigned to the Wisconsin Air National Guard's 115th Fighter Wing, overfly Truax Field, Madison, Wisconsin during a ceremony commemorating the units final departure with the aircraft Oct. 5, 2022. The F-16 first arrived at Truax Field in 1992 as the eighth primary airframe since the units inception in 1948 and is scheduled to be replaced by the F-35 Lightning II aircraft in the Spring of 2023.
