German Air Force Maj. Robert Diekmann, a force protection officer assigned to the German Air Force Headquarters in Berlin, and U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Maria Chew, command chief master sergeant for the Wisconsin Air National Guard’s 115th Fighter Wing, observe an aircraft launch June 4, 2026, during the Sentry North exercise at Volk Field Combat Readiness Training Center in Camp Douglas, Wisconsin. Diekmann’s visit to Volk Field was part of the exercise’s distinguished visitor tour which offered military and civilian dignitaries a firsthand look at the joint training opportunities provided by the annual National Guard exercise.
