Onboard a UH-1 Huey "Air Ambulance", Flight Medic Sgt Eric Leuckert from the Army National Guard's 832nd Medical Company in West Bend, Wisconsin searches for survivors through the flooded streets of downtown New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The Hurricane made landfall near Buras, Louisiana on August 29th 2005 with winds up to 230km/h and by the following day had broken two New Orleans levees covering 80 percent of the city with water from nearby Lake Pontchartrain.
