Airmen of the 115th Fighter Wing and their families were able to take a break together, at the end of the regularly scheduled drill day, Sept. 9 at Truax Field, Madison, Wisconsin to enjoy a visit from Milwaukee Bucks' Rashad Vaughn and the Rim Rockers and Hoop Troop, along with the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers and Bango, the Bucks mascot.

The performance held in a hangar at Truax Field, Madison, Wisconsin, was part of Milwaukee Bucks outreach, Statewide Tour presented by Pick ‘n Save, which ran Sept. 8-10 and Sept. 15-17. Four Rim Rockers, six Milwaukee Bucks Dancers, three Hoop Troop, Bango and Rashad Vaughn visited the base providing entertainment at the end of a busy work day, amidst lots of smiles and cheering from the fans in attendance. The visit was part of a larger tour, with 14 stops that weekend alone.

“I am very thankful for the opportunity to come visit you all today and appreciate everything you do for this state,” Vaughn said while speaking to the Airmen attending the show.

Vaughn, a 2015 first round pick from University of Nevada, Los Vegas has played in 111 career games in two seasons with the Bucks, all before turning 21 years old. Vaughn's 2016-17 season was highlighted by a career-high 22-point game in Milwaukee's win over the Brooklyn Nets, when he made a career-high six 3-pointers, becoming the second-youngest player in franchise history to make six three-point baskets in a game.

Nolan Dickenson, (age 5), son of a 115th FW Airman said, "It was cool to see basketball players dunk and the big jets! And I like Bango! I want to do it again," he added.
