Chief Master Sgt. McKay, 115th Fighter Wing
As the command chief, Chief Master Sergeant James C. McKay’s mission is to advocate on behalf of the enlisted force to ensure issues with their readiness, professional development, training, and quality of life are addressed. McKay joined the Army National Guard in 1985. After serving seven years as an avionics mechanic, he transferred to the Air National Guard in 1993. Prior to his current position, McKay was a telephone systems specialist, ground radio technician, the chief of maintenance, operations branch superintendent, communications chief, and mission support group superintendent.
