The 115th Fighter Wing held a retirement ceremony here for Chief Master Sgt. James Schmeisser, Sept. 18. During nearly 40 years of military service in the Wisconsin Air National Guard, Chief Schmeisser deployed over 15 times with the 115th Civil Engineering Squadron to locations all over the world. Hinman retires

Colonel Michael Hinman accepts congratulations from Brig. Generals Margaret Bair, chief of staff for the Wisconsin Air National Guard, and Donald Dunbar, Wisconsin National Guard adjutant general on a 34 year military career. As a member of the 115th Fighter Wing, Colonel Hinman served most recently as the vice commander of the wing in Madison.
