A Moment in History: 62 years ago Camp Williams was rededicated to Volk Field

On June 23, 1956, Camp Williams was rededicated Volk Field by Lt. Gov. Warren P. Knowles during a ceremony in honor of 1st Lt. Jerome A. Volk, the first Wisconsin National Guard pilot killed in combat in the Korean conflict.
