The F-51 Mustang was flown at Truax Field from 1948 to 1953.
The F-86A Sabre was flown at Truax Field from 1953 to 1954.
The F-89 Scorpion was assigned to Truax Field from 1954 to 1966
The F-102 Delta Dagger was assigned to Truax Field from 1966 to 1974.
The O-2A Skymaster was assigned to Truax Field from 1974 to 1979.
The OA-37 was assigned to Truax Field from 1979 to 1981.
The A-10 Thunderbolt II was assigned to Truax Field from 1981-1992.
The F-16 was assigned to Truax Field in 1992 and had it's last assigned flight in October 2022.
The F-35A arrived at Truax Field in April 2023 and is the units current airframe.
